 Hackmanite is a rare variety of sodalite first identified in Greenland in the early 20th century and named after Finnish mineralogist Victor Hackman. Its most remarkable feature is tenebrescence which is the ability to change color when exposed to sunlight or UV light, then gradually return to its original shade.
